Microwind Layout Example

The Microwind layout colours are rather nice, as this screen shot shows. The big advantage of Microwind is the ease of shifting between technologies. The layout is in regular lambda form, with the transistor channel lengths set to 2λ. Plenty of rul files are supplied which will extract spice decks to technologies ranging from 1.2um down to 50nm. Spice models are included, and the metal, poly and diffusion parasitic capacitances are estimated appropriately.
